Ethan Herd came home that night.
As soon as Mrs. Herd saw him, she asked, "Son, have you been busy recently?"
Ethan removed his coat and handed it to his fifth sister-in-law, "Not really, what's up?"
Mrs. Herd pulled him to the sofa and sat him down, "Did you know that little fairy Scarlett Glenn has gone off to become a celebrity?"
Undoing his tie, Ethan casually asked, "What about it?"
"Do you know, she is dating a singer. What kind of taste does she have? Is that singer any better than my son? Also, the internet is flooded with her scandals now, things about having an abortion, being a mistress, being kept by a man, they're all pretty heated."
Ethan's face darkened, "Those are all fake, don't just believe what you hear. Which celebrity has not been smeared? You're educated, you went to university, how can you just follow the crowd?"
"How is it fake, I think they have their sources. You defend her so much, aren't you fooling around with her?"
