The two became silent once again.
Scarlett Glenn glanced at Ethan Herd. When he was quiet, he seemed really cold, aloof, and very difficult to approach.
Ethan Herd had many sides, each of which seemed real, but also fake.
He could be so tolerant for her sake. But, was this out of affection, or was his ultimate goal just to seduce her? Scarlett Glenn couldn't be sure.
When a person has experienced a lot, been schemed against many times, they subconsciously think the worst of everything and everyone.
This situation, in a way, was very sad.
Scarlett Glenn asked Ethan, "Do you believe her appearance was a coincidence?"
Ethan Herd: "Hmph..."
