Ethan Herd kept a stern face, glanced at Scarlett Glenn from the corner of his eye, walked past her into the room, and said to the renovation workers in the room, "Carry on. If it's not complete by noon tomorrow, I'm deducting half your wages."
Upon hearing this, the workers immediately got busy, no one dared to dawdle.
Scarlett Glenn's face was so contorted with anger, she gritted her teeth and said, "Ethan Herd, take your people and get the hell out of here now."
Ethan laughed mockingly. He stood taller than Scarlett. Looking down at her with eyes full of contempt, as if to say: I won't leave, so what are you going to do about it?
He looked all noble and aloof, like an alpine flower in full bloom.
But Scarlett knew better, deep down, he was a damn disgrace.
Scarlett immediately pulled out her phone and called the residential area's property management: "Hello, property management? There's a burglar in my house, come over quickly."
