Ethan Herd sneered in his heart, why not just do it promptly? Why did they need him to do it personally?
Ethan raised his hand and a waiter immediately filled everyone's wine glasses.
"Great, then let's toast to wish you a smooth start to production."
The producer and director were reluctant, they had already agreed, and yet they were being made to drink.
Regardless, they hurriedly raised their wine glasses, "Thank you, Mr. Herd."
They all drank in one go, while Ethan didn't even touch his glass. It was clear that they had annoyed him, and he was here to make them pay.
The director, Mr. Gerry, flush with the influence of alcohol, said, "Speaking of the movie, we have a problem with the post-production special effects. We want to hire a foreign special effects team, but we're having trouble making it happen. We'd like to ask for your help, Mr. Herd."
Mr. Gerry was very nervous. Although he didn't say it directly, everyone knew that the problem was the price.
