"The steamed buns I bought for you cost more than these two coins, Scarlett Glenn! Can you be even more stingy?"
Ethan Herd pinched those two coins, wishing he could crush them.
The door remained still, it was obvious that Scarlett Glenn was not going to let him in.
"You just wait! My steamed buns are worth a lot, next time pay me back!"
Ethan Herd left the message angrily and stormed off.
When passing by the trash can, he subconsciously wanted to throw the coins in his hand into it. Who needs your measly tips? Do I look like I'm short of money?
But he threw too hard and the coins didn't make it into the trash can. Instead, they bounced out, clattering and rolling a few meters away on the ground.
Ethan Herd sneered and muttered, "Who the hell needs you?"
He turned and entered the elevator, and just as the elevator door was about to close completely, a hand suddenly reached out.
The elevator door reopened automatically, and Ethan Herd walked out with a frown.
