As soon as Mrs. Herd finished speaking, she hung up the phone. Ethan felt a bit bewildered; this was the first time his mother had been so angry with him. Usually, the old lady was afraid of him.
Ethan guessed something serious had happened and said, "I'm going home for a bit. My mom has a problem."
Deano Zell nodded, "Alright, you go first. Finding someone isn't an immediate thing. You have many contacts in the country, help me keep an eye out."
"Don't worry."
Ethan left.
When he returned home and entered the living room, his fifth sister-in-law secretly gestured to him.
Ethan saw his mother half-leaning on the sofa, an ice pack on her forehead, and her face looking really unwell.
"Why did you call me back?"
The next second, Mrs. Herd got up and grabbed the ice pack, throwing it at Ethan. "Do you know what you've done?"
Ethan furrowed his brow, "Mum, did you eat explosives?"
