Melvin Kard hesitated for a moment and then chuckled, "Bro, we're... we're civilized people, we... we shouldn't openly rob someone. We haven't done that kind of thing in years, right?"
Ethan Herd: "Did I say we should rob her?"
Melvin Kard laughed: "I get it, I'll do it secretly. Don't worry, I'll definitely get it for you."
Ethan Herd waved for him to leave, and Melvin Kard pouted as he got up.
He stood at the entrance but didn't leave. He asked, "Brother, I heard that a woman has upset you. Tell me who she is, and I'll help you settle the score."
A chill flashed in Ethan Herd's eyes: "Is it your place?"
If anyone was going to teach her a lesson, it would be him.
"I'm talking too much." Melvin Kard quickly slipped out.
As soon as Melvin Kard left, he saw John River holding a document and about to enter. He kindly reminded him, "His mood isn't that good inside."
John River gave him a sidelong glance: "Has his mood been any better these days?"
