"Donor, disrespecting the Buddha is inappropriate." The young monk joined his hands in prayer, reminding Charlotte Aria out loud.
Charlotte Aria thought to herself that she definitely was dissimilar from her grandmother and was immune to such admonishment. She glanced at the solemn expression on the young monk's face and inexplicably asked, "Could this Buddha possibly be a woman?"
The little monk answered very seriously: "Buddha does not differentiate between men and women, he is the embodiment of all truth, goodness, and beauty in this world."
Charlotte Aria sank into thought, "So, could that mean I, too, could be an incarnation of Buddha?"
The young monk's cheeks swelled into a deep red, apparently he did not expect anyone to be so audacious. His good upbringing allowed him only to blurt out a few words, "Donor, please watch your words."
