Sadam Hayes opened the door, inconspicuously peeked his head out, upon seeing a waiter approaching him, he immediately frowned and scolded, "Who allowed you to come up here?"
The man didn't even bother to respond to him, he saw Finnian Moore and without a second thought, lunged at him with a blade. In an emergency reaction, Finnian raised his arm to block the attack, gritting his teeth he queried, "Who the hell are you?"
"I'm here to claim your life." The intruder snickered in a creepy and cold manner. Without any hesitation, his arm broke through Finnian's defense, and the blade harshly penetrated Finnian's chest.
Overwhelmed by the intruder's force, Finnian dropped onto one knee, still refusing to capitulate.
The grisly scene terrified Sadam Hayes, he plastered himself against the wall, cautiously probing, "Was it you who called me just now?"
That voice was truly familiar. It reminded him of the person he spoke to on the phone.
