Enraged, Vanessa Aria longed to peel off the skin and yank out the veins of that worthless being who dared to provoke her.
She vowed to have them begging for death yet unable to die.
The phone that had been tossed onto the ground suddenly started vibrating. The buzzing sounded as if the ground itself was shaking.
A subordinate walked over, glanced at the phone, then respectfully handed it to Vanessa. "Madam's call."
Vanessa quickly composted her countenance. Taking the phone, she pressed the answer button, her expression turning especially deferential. "Madam."
"How goes the plan?"
"Rest assured, Madam. Everything is under control. Your desired vengeance will be fulfilled."
"Do you know if that girl is still in Lostswa?"
Vanessa was taken aback, only then realizing Madam was referring to Aubree Groove.
"If she leaves, the play can't go on. Use her to kick-start this grand play."
"I am waiting for your good news. This time, don't disappoint me again."
