Virginia Frost stared intently at the river beneath the bridge, "Give me a little more time. Once I'm sure about Edward's safety, I will immediately go to see Mr. Lewis."
Madon Linggo stated gravely, "Madam Frost, Mr. Lewis's exact words were for you to see him immediately. Please don't put me in a difficult position."
Virginia Frost gripped the icy bridge railing tightly and said harshly, "I will explain myself to Mr. Lewis. It's not your place to tell me what to do."
Madon Linggo raised an eyebrow, glancing at his watch, "No more than fifteen minutes."
Virginia Frost almost angrily yelled, "Where's the rescue team?"
Bartlett Parker wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and jogged over, "They're on the way, almost here."
Subsequently, the blaring noise of fire truck sirens echoed non-stop, shattering the silence of the night. The entire city's rescue and police forces were virtually mobilized.
Public distress was widespread.
