Alaric Moore's hand, dangling at his side, unconsciously clenched into a fist.
Before the man's gaze swept over her, she lowered her eyes without any change in her expression.
Her eyes were fixated on a particular point on the report card, as the incessant voice of Felicio Linggo's mother lingered in her ear: "Mr. Harris is really handsome. Our precious son always speaks well of him. Just by looking at him, one can see that he's a gentleman. I wonder if he's married..."
Alaric's mind was in chaos. Maybe it was just someone who looked a little similar. It couldn't be him.
"The results of this month's exams have come out, and I assume all parents have already seen them. Here, I would like to particularly commend Hellena Groove and Titi Groove. Are the parents of these two students present?"
Countless eyes landed on Alaric.
Alaric closed his eyes, and courageously stood up.
