"What now? Isn't that guy done messing with me, and now he's sending you, his lackey, to do what?" Kiara didn't hide her displeasure upon seeing Edward Farmbright.
"Lackey is what?"
"A way to compliment someone on being clever."
Andrew Farmstead noted it down again, not that he believed it. Kiara was the best at talking nonsense with a straight face!
"Why are you here? If it's that old man who sent you, you can get lost." Kiara, viewing everything connected to that man with disdain, was not about to show his number one lackey a friendly face.
"The person who offended you is him, take your revenge on him all you want. Even warring nations don't kill the messenger!" said Edward Farmstead, flashing the notes in his hand, "I've come to deliver something to you."
"Hmph." Kiara stepped aside to let him enter the house and quickly cleared away the snacks on the coffee table, not leaving a crumb for Edward Farmstead!
