Mario Yuno was taken aback by Kiara's words and shook his head bitterly a few seconds later.
"There are no such things as ghosts and deities in this world; it's all stories people make up to scare themselves."
Kiara nodded, then shook her head.
"I won't comment on such supernatural phenomena, but what I want to say is, when our bodies eventually become dust and bones, what will be left behind?"
"Spirit."
Kiara nodded.
"Exactly, wealth is nothing in the end. What we truly leave behind for future generations is nothing more than a spirit. Baron is gone now, but if you imagine him coming back, what would he say to you?"
"He would hate me, hate me for taking his life."
"I don't think so. If he could come back, he would definitely look at the bottle in your hand and excitedly say, 'You brought wine today!'"
Mario Yuno was taken aback by Kiara's description but gradually relaxed his furrowed brow.
"You understand him better."
