"Beautiful Lady, slow down! Don't run too far!" Edward Wheeler called out, and the Beautiful Lady immediately stood still, waiting for him.
Edward Wheeler ran over and rubbed its head, "Are you excited to be back in the Woodland?"
The reply he got was a bark from the Beautiful Lady, which seemed to be quite happy.
Before its retirement, it had always followed the instructor on missions at the border, with the Woodland being the place it frequented the most. Being able to visit such a place again made it exceptionally joyful.
Edward Wheeler ran with it for a while until suddenly he stopped in front of a certain tree, and the Beautiful Lady adopted a defensive posture.
Edward Wheeler made a quiet hand signal, instructing the Beautiful Lady to step back. He then took out the multi-tool from his waist, bent down, and dug a few times in the ground, disabling a trap that had been buried there.
