Mario Yuno went downstairs to pick up Zeke Sean and, incidentally, to buy some toilet paper for the house.
After leaving the convenience store with a pack of toilet paper, he reached the gatehouse and looked around.
Zeke Sean patted his shoulder, "You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?"
A grown man standing right in front of Camden, pretending he's invisible – what's the point?
Could he really not recognize him?
Mario Yuno chuckled, "If you hadn't spoken up, I would've thought some homeless guy wandered to our gate. I almost asked the guard to give you a bottle of water."
"Cut it out!" Zeke Sean's retort was weak and breathless.
Mario Yuno indeed was teasing Zeke Sean, but it wasn't Camden's fault.
In just two days, Zeke Sean had become haggard, his chin covered with stubble, reeking of alcohol, his clothes wrinkled like dried vegetables, and his hair a tousled mess.
