Yuki Stone knew that Mario Yuno was about to send someone over, and she would definitely be found. At that moment, she really didn't want to see Mrs. Kiara or cause her trouble, so she reached out her hand, trying to hail a taxi to leave.
On rainy days, most taxis had gone home, and even if there were one or two, seeing Yuki Stone drenched through, they were reluctant to stop. She stood in the rain shivering, not knowing how much time had passed, until a car stopped in front of her and the window rolled down, a head poking out.
"Miss?"
Ten minutes later, Yuki Stone was holding a cup of hot tea, sitting on the sofa. A woman with short curly hair draped a towel over her, asking with concern.
"Are you alright?"
"Thank you, I'm fine." Yuki Stone vaguely remembered that the woman was the wife of the manager of Linville's Large Pharmacy, whom her father had invited for dinner when she came here to go to school.
