Yu Minglang and Yan Yu had just returned to Xiao Qian's house and closed the door when they heard a knock. Yu Minglang quickly entered Xiao Qian's room with Yan Yu, signaling for Xiao Qian to open the door.
"What's up?" Xiao Qian asked Aka, who was standing outside the door.
"I heard a loud noise in your house when I was trying to sleep, so I came over to check on you guys. Are you alright?" Aka seemed fine, asking with a grin.
"It's fine. That was a noise-maker my sister bought. She just broke up with her ex-boyfriend today and wanted to get revenge on that scumbag, so she bought this thing to put next to her ex's house. She just tried it out and it was louder than expected, sorry to have disturbed your sleep."
Aka's mouth twitched, "No problem, as long as you're okay. Well, see you at school tomorrow. Get some rest early."
"Good night."
Back in the bedroom, Xiao Qian wrote a note to Yu Minglang: She could hear me speaking, not like tinnitus.
