Father Liao is helping Jia Xiufang with her knitting, with Father Liao holding up the yarn while Jia Xiufang winds it into a ball. They watch as their steady eldest son, Fugui, paces around the room like a cat on hot bricks.
Jia Xiufang nudges Father Liao, "What's up with Fugui?"
"I don't know."
"Does he have a girlfriend?" Jia Xiufang perks up at the mention of this.
"This morning, Qian'er's mother-in-law called me. She said they've found a few suitable girls. The girls are really good, all handpicked from the hospital. Some were chosen from Qian'er's mother-in-law's hospital, and others from Qian'er's eldest sister-in-law's hospital. Fugui's marriage needs to be settled soon, if we wait a few more years... he might have to marry a divorcee."
Father Liao glanced at his wife nonchalantly, "As long as he can find someone, even with a child, that's fine."
