Zoel Cohen dodged Kiara's teasing gaze and asked directly.
"Just tell me, how can I get Lucy to stop screwing me over like this?"
"Force won't work," this statement was ordinary, but why did it sound so off to Zoel Cohen? He suspected Kiara was making some kind of innuendo, but he had no evidence.
"That's why you have to use a softer approach," Kiara was almost hurting inside from holding back.
Zoel Cohen felt the urge to show her the door again.
"Speak human!"
"You could always employ a 'handsome man strategy.' Let me give you some solid advice—psychologically speaking, the tougher a person is, the more love they lack in their heart. Aka has been an orphan since she was little, and her upbringing was pretty harsh. Just show a tiny bit of vulnerability to her, and she definitely won't lay a hand on you."
Kiara's suggestion struck Zoel Cohen like a bolt from the blue, "I, a grown man, show weakness to that little brat Lucy?"
