Zeke Sean remembered that he had just called Amelia for clothes and glared at Lila.
"I'll settle the money with you tomorrow."
Zeke Sean roughly snatched the bag from her, as Lila curiously tried to peek behind him. She had hoped that the always cheerful Bro Sean would invite her in to sit, but she was bound to be disappointed. As soon as Zeke Sean took the bag, he casually shut the door without even saying goodbye.
As if she'd get a goodbye from the one who interrupted his good time—wishful thinking!
