In the Vanderbilt Family's back courtyard, Arabella Vanderbilt walked into Dominic Vanderbilt's room and was unexpectedly greeted by another person present.
"… Grandpa."
Dominic leaned against the head of the bed, lifting his aged eyes to glance at her, before they fell again, filled with deep sorrow.
"Arabella, Grandpa is sorry to you. Back then…"
He choked up, unable to continue.
Arabella's eyes trembled, and a sour feeling uncontrollably rose in her heart, but in the end, she turned her head away, her voice was cold and steady.
"What did you call me for?"
Dominic felt increasingly saddened by Arabella's estrangement, but still glanced at the man beside him.
Upon receiving the signal, the man stepped forward and handed a document to Arabella.
"Eldest Miss, this is the remaining fifteen percent of shares that the Old Master held, which are now being transferred to your name."
Arabella tugged at the corner of her lips, glanced at the document, "Another compensation?"
