"Is the button at your waist not done up properly?"
Joel Russo pointed at her waist, closing the magazine in his hand.
Arabella Vanderbilt looked down at the button on her waist but didn't find anything amiss. Still, she fiddled with it for a moment before looking up, only to be caught by a familiar cool fragrance and pulled forcefully into an embrace from behind.
Seeing the two figures tightly clasped together in the mirror, Arabella's heart skipped a beat.
She could still clearly see the flames dancing in the man's eyes, just like that day in the kitchen.
She was breathing nervously, turning her head slightly, her cheek pressed against his stooped face.
"What's wrong?"
Joel Russo's hand gently traced the beautiful curve of her waist, his deep voice vibrating in her ear:
"You're beautiful, like a fairy."
