The next morning, Arabella Vanderbilt was still in her pajamas, washing up, when the doorbell rang.
She hurried downstairs to open the door and found Joel Russo's tall figure standing at the entrance.
A deep blue high-quality shirt and a dark suit jacket draped over his arm, his handsome face lit up with a smile upon seeing her.
"Good morning,"
He greeted her with a smile, but Arabella was a bit slow to respond.
"... Why are you here so early?"
She glanced back at the clock; it was just past seven. If he came from the Lynch Estate... that meant he must have woken up at six?
He had gone back so late last night.
"It's all right,"
Joel Russo said lightly, then raised the tie in his hand to her.
Arabella understood, stepped aside to let him in, and took the tie from his hand to tie it for him while standing on tiptoes.
"Did you come over this early just for me to tie your tie?"
"Mhm."
"Who used to tie your ties for you before?"
