"Worried? Why?"
Oliver Timmerman asked, furrowing his brows. Although he knew Arabella would be emotional because of the breakup, it should be the case that she wouldn't allow herself to be bullied, judging from today's events.
"Brother Oliver, aren't you curious about who the man in the car was today? My sister just broke up with you, and she must be struggling to control her emotions. What if she, in a moment of weakness, finds some rich man just to spite us..."
Oliver's expression immediately turned cold, "Arabella isn't that kind of person! She has always been pure and self-respecting!"
They had been together for eight years, and even at school, during the most romantic and impulsive time of their lives, they had never crossed the line. The most they had done was a hug that was more polite than a standard etiquette requires.
Even so, she would sometimes show an embarrassed expression, let alone these past few years when she had always been by his side.
