Joel Russo sat at the head of the table, expressionlessly looking at the two proposals before him; his deep eyes flashed with a faint glimmer of light.
"Timmerman Corporation is strong now, but that doesn't mean it will always be. Sonora may be small, but that doesn't mean it won't grow. As for who is truly more powerful, a competition will tell."
Joel rarely spoke; his indifferent voice carried an innate nobility and an authority that brooked no argument.
There was silence in the conference room for a while until someone suddenly said:
"I remember that the domestic fashion competition is about to start this year. Does the Executive mean to have both perfumers from the parties participate in the contest?"
Joel raised an eyebrow, his distinct, slender fingers pressed on the Sonora proposal, his cool gaze deep and shifting, ending with a fleeting glint of light from the depths of his eyes.
