"What I said is only human nature. If Linn were your child, I couldn't deprive you of your rights as a father. Linn's mother isn't dead; she's in prison. Since she's alive, you have a responsibility to take care of her. I can't steal a man from another woman, much less a father from his child."
The thing she hated the most was being the third party that destroyed a family.
