"Let's see how she plans to threaten me," Monica Baldwin looked down, her eyes reflecting deep wisdom. Monica obviously did not like threats, but there were always people who seemed intent on their own destruction.
Did she think her relationship with the director gave her free reign over the set?
Amelia Bailey probably had no idea how to properly navigate these unspoken rules.
During filming, Amelia thought she had something on Monica and made deliberate expressions at her during their shared scenes. She thought Monica would respond, but Monica merely glanced at her with calm indifference.
Amelia was frustrated. She couldn't believe Monica was showing no guilt. So, she turned her gaze back to Monica, even suggesting with her eyes to meet privately. But Monica continued to ignore her.
Finally, Amelia gave up and sat quietly to one side, waiting. After Monica finished a scene, while she was eating, Amelia approached and said, "Monica, I wanted to talk to you."
