"What if I become plump and fat? Would you still cast me as the female lead?" Monica Baldwin asked with a smile, swiftly inviting her guest to sit.
"How could that be? You've always been disciplined. I have faith in you. I just didn't expect you to maintain your figure so well after having a baby." Alexandra Baldwin, donning a black long skirt and a pair of golden-rimmed glasses, looked shy and reserved, fitting her image of an author staying indoors most of the time without much social interaction.
"Would you like to see them?" Monica asked as she prepared the coffee.
"Can I?" Alexandra's surprise was evident, and her innocence was adorable.
Monica nodded, then she led her to the nursery. When Alexandra noticed the two babies, she exclaimed abruptly, "You... you had twins? They look exactly alike!"
"Yes, I have not announced this publicly. I just hope that these two little guys can have a peaceful childhood." Monica answered with a nod.
