Victor Chadwick was slightly warmed by the mention of a married couple. Yet he was very much aware, with regard to their current status in the circle, Monica Baldwin was still far behind him. Even Nathaniel Hanson, the superstar of Ocean Entertainment Group, only went as far as clinking glasses with him. That was it. Everyone in the circle knew that he could not stand those taking advantage of him to climb the social ladder.
He could announce their marriage at any time, but he had promised Monica to give her time to prove herself until she stood by his side. So, he gently touched Monica's hair, every ounce of strength in his palm seemingly a boost of encouragement. He believed in Monica's ability to be at the pinnacle of greatness.
