Late at night, when Avery Sheen returned to her apartment, she saw that the game console on the table was already repaired, and her face showed an excitement that was hard to disguise.
Wasn't this supposed to be sent back to the factory, in Germany? How was it fixed so quickly?
Regardless, she dialed Brady Anderson's number: "Are you asleep?"
"Speak." Brady Anderson was sitting in the living room, sipping red wine by himself.
"How did the game console get fixed so quickly? Who's that good? Even German things can be restored? I want to express my admiration!"
"Me." Perhaps because he had drunk a bit too much, Brady Anderson, under the influence of alcohol, was not as reserved as in his sober moments and seemed much more direct.
"You? I don't really believe that!" chuckled Avery Sheen.
Brad Anderson laughed on the other end of the phone. For some reason, he extended an invitation to Avery Sheen: "Do you want to come over and drink with me?"
