The next morning, Monica Baldwin began work at 8 o'clock, so she woke up at six thirty, had Meghan prepare breakfast, and quietly entered Victor Chadwick's room.
Yesterday, right after Victor got off the airplane, he immediately went to the photography studio. He didn't have time to tidy up his documents and clothes, which were now strewn about on the sofa.
Monica knew he was tired, so she carefully put away all his belongings and then placed the fragrant breakfast on the dining table outside his bedroom.
Finally, she walked barefooted over to the side of the bed and sat down, gently caressing Victor's handsome face.
It seemed like Victor had been awake for quite a while. He grabbed her wandering hand and rested his head on her lap.
Monica gently brushed his dishevelled hair and held his left hand which had their wedding ring on it: "Meghan will accompany me for the filming today, you should rest, alright?"
"Not today..." Victor said, hinting at something.
