Ellen Williams did not return home all night; she planned to go back to school for her classes first and then give her family an explanation. However, upon her return to the school, she was confronted by the principal.
The principal sat at her desk, and upon seeing her, said, "Ellen, pack up your belongings; you should go home."
"Principal?" Ellen frowned, completely at a loss as to what had transpired.
"Dear, I truly had no idea you were the Second Miss of the Mayor's family; please accept my previous insolences!"
Having heard the principal's words, Ellen finally understood his intent.
Seemingly, the Williams Family had already intervened.
