"How do you know my mother?"
"We have some history." Garrett Robinson replied to Sapphire Mills, "and, don't put so much trust in your aunt."
Sapphire couldn't articulate a word, she was just incredibly worried about her mother. Maybe Garrett understood her anxiety, so he increased his speed, taking her directly back to the Mills residence.
To avoid suspicion, Robinson didn't accompany her inside but waited outside. Just in case Sapphire needed his help again, he never imagined that after privately observing this woman for so long, their first conversation would be about her mother.
Sapphire didn't have time to think about Garrett's issue. She ran straight towards her mother's room and opened the door to find her so-called lawyer aunt kicking her fallen mother.
"What are you doing?" Sapphire shouted angrily at her aunt.
The latter seemed unprepared for Sapphire's sudden return and her expression turned frantic.
"Oh Sapphire, why are you back so soon?"
