Separated by a white sheet, Chris Hanson lay cold on the bed, his body tainted with splotches of blood.
His departure was so sudden that it left behind nothing more than the video message in which he apologized to Monica Baldwin and Emma Mills.
Following the direction pointed out by Emma Mills, Father Hans laid eyes on Chris Hanson lying motionless on the hospital bed. Willard Hanson rushed forward and peeled away the sheet. Chris was lying there peacefully, completely still, his body still holding a faint warmth.
"Chris, stop kidding around with your brother, get up!"
"Chris..."
Then, Willard Hanson reached out and touched Chris's cheek, only to realise he had already stopped breathing, much like a human figurine.
"Son?" Father Hans also hurried over, upon sighting Chris' body, he couldn't help but yell.
