Huh?
It was a strange number.
Ella wiped away her tears, mustered her composure, and pressed the answer button. A mechanical, metallic voice came through, "Want to know what Mr. Lindsey is busy with?"
"No." Ella was cautious and asked directly, "Who are you? Why are you disguising your voice?"
"If you want to know who I am, you can find me." The cold, metallic voice replied.
"Why should I bother looking for you? You obviously are not a good person, always shrouded in mystery," Ella retorted logically.
