Arthur Lindsey said heavily, clearly having seen through Alexander Stuart's thoughts. Then, wrapping his arm around Ella Lacey, he headed towards his office with a sly smile playing on his lips. "Let's get down to business."
"...Alright, Mr. Lindsey."
Alexander Stuart was taken aback for a moment. He realized that mentioning that woman seemed to upset both Mr. Lindsey and Miss Lacey, didn't it?
Wasn't it her that saved Mr. Lindsey back then?
Not understanding the whole story, he had already received Ella and Arthur in his office.
"Miss Lacey, please take a seat." Alexander gestured her to sit on the chair opposite him.
Ella did as he said.
"Miss Lacey, please extend your left hand." Alexander placed a soft sponge pad on the table.
Ella extended her left hand and placed it on the light yellow sponge.
Alexander then reached out two fingers, placed them on the pulse of her fair wrist area, and focused, as if diagnosing something.
Ella seemed to understand what he was doing.
