"You knew I was behind you?!" Juliette Jones exclaimed in shock.
"Of course."
Ella Lacey grinned slightly, smoothly dismantling the tiny chip hidden under her cuffs, then, with the help of the surrounding rubble, churned it into a small pile of waste before trampling it into the muddy ground.
"You discovered the chip?" Juliette Jones asked in surprise again.
"Not only that, I know it was planted by Tang."
But Ella Lacey didn't dwell on this as she candidly said, "Tell me, trailing me for so long, what are you trying to do?"
"You know damn well!" Juliette Jones revealed the long knife in her hand, glinting coldly.
"For the scroll?" Ella Lacey didn't seem scared at all, her expression unchanged.
"Hand it over!" Juliette Jones hollered in anger.
"And what if I don't?" Ella Lacey said playfully.
"Then you only have one road to death!" Juliette Jones vaulted the long knife in her hand.
"Just with you alone?"
