Although the fragile sound seemed horrifying, Ella Lacey was protected by the amulet. She had no fear, even if she had fainted.
Half an hour later.
Arthur Lindsey finally stirred from his unconscious state.
His profound and cold eyelashes slowly wavered like dewdrops twirling on leaves, gradually opening to let out a ray of light. His slender fingers, as smooth as jade, subtly quivered, slowly clenched, and spread into a palm, placed onto his forehead to shield the sunlight pouring from below the cliff.
"Is this the bottom of the Observing Heaven Cliff?"
Unlike typical cliff fall victims, Arthur Lindsey did not act idiotically by screaming out his surprise, "Ah, have I reached hell?" immediately after awakening.
Maintaining clear-headed calmness, he sat up straight, surveying his body. Surprisingly, there was not a spot of dirty blood, clean and fresh, as if nothing had occurred on top of the cliff.
Even more so, he quickly moved all his joints, all intact!
