Ella Lacey's memory was instantly sparked, recalling the strange expression on Dilbert Walker's face that morning...
She dropped her head in agony, "Why was I so indifferent? Why was I so cruel? Why..."
"Miss Ella, don't blame yourself. If anyone should be blamed, it should be Juliette Jones, who schemed to drive a wedge between you and Arthur," Dilbert Walker said perceptively.
"What? Dilbert, are you planning to take drastic measures against me now? With Ella in our hands, dare you!" Juliette Jones confronted him fiercely, her eyes full of hatred.
"Are you trying to trick us?" Dilbert asked fearlessly, " We have released the three members of the Jefferson Family according to the old man's request, and have even transferred all of Arthur's shares in Norris Beckett Group to the Ren Jefferson Group. Aren't you supposed to release Miss Ella now?"
"Well, of course."
Raphael Jefferson let out a dark chuckle, "But I have another condition."
"What condition?" Dilbert asked.
