"Where is he!" Ella Lacey cried out in anguish.
"We stopped him..." Renny Jaron started, suddenly halting and covering his mouth as if he had stepped on a landmine.
"Why!"
Ella was shocked and rushed to the door, checked around for anybody, closed it securely, then pulled Renny into her presence to ask, "Carl, tell sister what happened when Uncle Wei came here yesterday, okay?"
"..." Renny looked like a child who had done something wrong, his head bowed, and he seemed utterly lost.
"Carl, if you don't tell sister, sister will cry in front of you." Ella said and started crying. She had endured so much over the last ten or so days and her tears fell like a floodgate had been opened.
"Sister Ella, please don't..."
Renny's hands were clasped over his chest. Seeing Ella in such distress, he pulled out a tissue from his pocket to wipe her tears, and pursed his lips to say, "Don't cry, sister Ella, I will tell you everything."
