It was at that point Penny Sullivan's phone rang.
She excitedly exclaimed, "It's my son!"
Pressing the answer button, Arthur Lindsey's voice came from the other end, "Mom, have you had dinner yet?"
"We just ate, what about you?" Penny Sullivan assumed her son had not eaten because his voice sounded weak.
Yet, Arthur was biting his teeth, straining his voice to say, "I also ate."
"You must have eaten very less."
Out of concern for her son, Penny advised, "No matter how busy work is, you have to take care of your health, eat more, and drink more water, ok?"
"...Yeah." Arthur tried to limit his words as much as possible on the other end, the more he spoke, the more likely he was to give himself away.
"Can you come back tomorrow? Ella is going to the University, and I want you to send her," Penny revealed her plan.
"..." Arthur was silent for a moment, mustering energy to tell her, "I can't come back, ask Dilbert Walker to drive her."
