"What should I do then?" Ella Lacey took a closer look and suddenly felt a hint of familiarity.
As her words trailed off, a heated discussion erupted from behind:

"That's Mr. Arthur's seat, and she's playing dumb!"
"Get her out of there!"

"Ella Lacey, do you hear the boos from the students?" Ruby Carter reminded her.
"In one ear and out the other." Ella Lacey replied with a radiant smile.
"You——"
Although Ruby Carter was outraged, she had to remain calm in Arthur Lindsey's presence, as she wanted to leave a good impression on him.
Then, she fawningly said to Arthur, "Mr. Arthur, this student is impolite and has taken your seat. She refuses to leave, what should we do?"
Everyone was aware of Arthur Lindsey's stern authority, crossing paths with him would lead to an unseemly fate!
