The night Ella Lacey returned to the Jefferson Family residence, she was moved out of Sally Jefferson's room by Amber Sherwood and banished to a small room originally used for storage.
Amber claimed that her precious daughter needed rest and constant care, saying that Ella would only be in the way.
Ella desperately wanted to say something, "I can leave, but with so many rooms in your house, why must I stay in the dark and dingy storage room?"
However, after giving it some thought, she realized she was at their mercy. Having lived there for more than a month, what could she do if the master of the house decided to make things difficult for her?
