On the second floor of the Caoyun 1 building, a long row of hair salon areas lined with large and small shops buzzed with the continuous noise of hair dryers.
Sally Jefferson took Ella Lacey into Onegirl Hair Salon, the largest in the row.
"Ella, many celebrities come here for their styling too," Sally said with a hint of pride. "I heard your idol Rosie Carter used to be a regular client here, although it seems like she's been put on the back burner recently?"
"Yeah, I heard that in the news," Ella responded nonchalantly.
She no longer felt the same affection for her former idol, ever since seeing her true colours.
In the drawer of her desk was the rare edition album of Rosie's music given to her by Ava Anderson, her front desk partner. However, she didn't have the slightest interest in it now.
"Well, she brought it on herself," Sally said, hinting that she knew more about the situation than she had let on.
Ella, however, didn't care and had no desire to discuss Rosie.
