"Where are we going?" Ella Lacey couldn't tell which direction the car was headed.
"You'll know when we get there." Sally Jefferson was being secretive.
"But I need to go home and review my lessons. It's almost final exam season!" Even with the advantage of her storage ring, Ella still needed to sort out and review her study materials, becoming proficient and familiar with every study point.
"You're already the top of your class, what more do you need to revise? Studying needs a balance of tension and relaxation. Relaxation is crucial too!" Sally was making sense. However, she had heard from Ginny Harl that Ella had done well in a special test that morning, clearing up suspicions of cheating.
So, Sally came up with another plan— take her out, distract her from studying in her spare time, and see if Ella could still score high.
But Ella was not content with the status quo. To win Arthur's affection, she had to outshine the rest in the fierce college entrance exam competition.
