"What's going on?"
Ella Lacey wiped Yolanda Bardot's overflowing tears with her hand.
She must have been crying for a long time.
Her eyes were swollen like a rotten peach.
Ella moved her to the couch in the living room, brought a warm towel to place on her eyes, and sympathetically said, "Yolanda, you're going to cry your eyes out."
But Yolanda showed no signs of stopping, her face buried in the towel, crying incessantly.
"Yolanda, this isn't good for you, I should call Uncle Walker to come back." Ella picked up her phone, about to call Dilbert Walker.
At that point, Yolanda seemed to snap out of it and held her hand, "Ella, don't—"
"Yolanda, don't worry, I'm just pretending. Can you stop crying and tell me what happened?" Ella wiped her tears while wondering what had happened between her and Uncle Walker.
They seemed like the perfect couple.
Why would they suddenly break up?
"Dil... Dilbert… He's been keeping a secret…" Yolanda choked out between sobs.
"A secret?"
