Alexander Stuart noticed that Tercy Mason seemed a bit off and stepped in to assist. Then, he asked curiously about the man in front of him, "May I ask who you are?"
"Hello, I'm Ruben Finnegan, Ella's childhood friend." Ruben extended his hand politely towards him.
Alexander immediately made a connection—
Could he be the man Ella mentioned that Tercy liked?!

His heart was hit hard, especially when he caught a glimpse of Tercy subtly sobbing, her eyes shimmering with tears...
The fervor he felt earlier instantly diminished by more than half.
But he still suppressed his complicated emotions and shook Ruben's hand politely, his tone as calm as possible, "Hello, I'm Alexander Stuart, a doctor."
"Hello, Dr. Stuart, are you the one who cured Ella?"
