"..." Ella Lacey hesitated. This was a strange little island and it wasn't safe to travel at night.
She wasn't concerned about herself, but about Yolanda Bardot. After all, Yolanda was a typical ordinary person.
"Ella, it was only just after dusk. We can rush and return. Consider it as exercise."
Having said that, Yolanda Bardot began to jog along the western coastline. "I'm starting off."
"Oh, Yolanda be careful," Ella Lacey replied.
Ella genuinely felt uneasy about letting her go alone. What if she encountered some wild animal or person?
But Yolanda had already run into the dense forest and was out of sight.
Ella could only walk leisurely along the eastern coastline as if she were taking an after-dinner walk.
She didn't look back, so she didn't see that person who had disappeared in the forest pop back out, their body trembling. "Ella, I'm sorry... but they promised me... they won't hurt you..."
Ella was strolling leisurely along the seashore, looking rather relaxed.
