When the host finished speaking, a row of attendants dressed as sailors brought forth trays of fruit and pastries, standing in the center, waiting for those who were interested to sample.
However, two sailor attendants directly headed for Arthur Lindsey and Ella Lacey, presented the fruit platter, and bowed politely, "Please enjoy, Mr. Lindsey and Miss Lacey."
"Thank you."
Ella unceremoniously picked up a big pink peach and took a crisp bite, complimenting, "What a sweet peach."
"Thank you for your appreciation, Miss Lacey." The servant was pleased as if he had received a glowing review.
Ella took another bite, offering the unbitten side to Arthur, excitedly saying, "Arthur, you have to try this too, it's super sweet."
He, who was always so meticulous about cleanliness, this was incredibly surprising!
